Embedded in the gentle green hills of southern Styria lies the spa Parktherme Bad Radkersburg, known for its unique and special thermal water. As a major business in the area, it plays a key role not just for the nearby accommodation businesses, but certainly also for demand and bookings in the entire region thanks to its spa offering.
Strengthening and growing online sales has been a common goal of Parktherme and incert since 2013. Building on a successfully introduced incert e-commerce solution for the sale of spa vouchers, the offering was to be expanded to the online sale of day tickets and shop articles. Another goal was to further develop the collaboration with the partner businesses in the area.
The e-commerce sales platform of Parktherme was enhanced with the shop system for the sale of products as well as the ticket system for the online sale of day tickets and event tickets. As part of this expansion, the online sales user interface was also vamped up and specially adapted to the requirements and individual design of the client. As a consequence, the online marketing campaigns supported by incert were also redesigned and optimised.
A further focus of the project was the extension of the system accesses of all partner businesses. In the future, the existing log-ins will be used to directly issue and automatically process the multi-day tickets of the partners in addition to vouchers. Processing with the accounting programme BMD is enabled by the direct charging to the own account of each partner business.
A direct connection to the HKS spa cash registers additionally enables directly redeeming vouchers and tickets at the cash registers and as a result optimises the on-site processes. Furthermore, the cash register system can be used to issue gift cards quickly and easily. Together with the automated invoicing for the on-site sales, this saves precious time and labour.
Thanks to the long partnership with incert, we were able to continuously grow the success of our online shop and offer our guests new, smart online services. The tailor-made integration into the IT environment of our company and the individual support provided by incert are additional success factors.

The system expansion achieved important strategic customer goals:
- Direct online booking of spa admission tickets and the associated possibility of controlling the occupancy rate.
- Increased sales due to additional product sales and the sale of multi-day tickets by partner businesses in the region.
- Development and optimisation of the e-commerce online marketing campaigns in the Facebook and Google networks.
- More efficient work on site through process optimisations in the form of interfaces to the cash register and accounting system.
