In Austria’s only year-round ski resort, it is essential to counter the high administration and planning costs due to the harsh environment by optimising processes as much as possible. The resort was looking for the possibility of sales automation and sales optimisation for experience tickets and vouchers.
In early 2020, the ski resort Hintertuxer Gletscher started selling services on the mountain through the incert voucher and ticket system. The booking and the sale of a wide number of experience and culinary offerings at and around the glacier are handled online. Through the automated appointment generation and assignment of available batches, the internal administrative effort is greatly diminished.<br/> And thanks to the central calendar with all dates and the ticket availability viewable at all times, the visitor has a clear overview of all offerings across the entire ski resort.<br/> Vouchers from the Hintertuxer Gletscher, as well as those from the tourism association, can be redeemed on site or online. The voucher serves as a simple means of payment for ticket purchases at the cash register or in the online ticket shop.
Interfaces to the Skidata and Steingress cash registers enable simple verification and validation of vouchers and tickets in the valley as well as in the mountain restaurants. The simple handling of combined tickets for cable car and restaurant services was thus provided.
With incert, we have found a system that on the one hand is mature and tested, and on the other still allows for entrepreneurial flexibility.

In addition to classical vouchers and tickets, the attractive combination tickets can also be offered online automatically. With the interfaces to the numerous cash registers on site, validation is a simple matter, as one can imagine. For the Hintertuxer Glacier, the incert voucher management- and ticket system minimised the administrative effort and simultaneously achieved occupancy control through the transparent display of availability.
