From individual success to a system solution

The strengthening and expansion of online sales has been a joint goal of Parktherme and incert since 2013. Based on a successfully introduced incert eCommerce solution for the sale of thermal spa vouchers, this was to be expanded to include the online sale of day tickets and store items. Another goal was to further expand the cooperation with partner businesses in the region.

From voucher to fully networked sales system

Extensive extensions to the existing eCommerce system: The store system for the sale of products and the ticket system for the online sale of day passes and event tickets were added. At the same time, the store frontend and the online marketing campaigns managed by incert were adapted to the client’s new individual designs. In addition to vouchers, partner companies can now also sell multi-day admission tickets directly. Sales evaluations per partner are billed automatically via a Buha interface. The interface to the HKS thermal spa cash desks enables the redemption of vouchers and tickets at the cash desks, as well as the loading and sale of gift cards.

The screen design of the new store interfaces was implemented by Körbler GmbH. Vouchers and tickets can be validated and gift cards issued via the HKS interface. Multi-day ticket sales are possible via partner system access. In addition, a BMD connection ensures the automatic booking of sales and redemptions.

Conclusion

Important strategic goals were achieved: the online booking of thermal spa admissions and day tickets enabled targeted capacity management to be implemented. At the same time, turnover was increased through the additional online sale of products and sales via partner businesses in the region. The eCommerce online marketing campaigns on the Facebook and Google networks were further expanded and optimized. In addition, the interfaces to cash register and accounting systems led to significant savings in time and personnel resources.
