Oracle Opera Cloud

Hoteliers have a wide range of requirements when it comes to hotel software: they need to control hotel operations, manage guest preferences, room inventory and room rates – and all this with constant change and secure data storage. For this reason, Oracle Hospitality has developed OPERA Cloud Property Management.

OPERA INTEGRATION: incert voucher management & guest loyalty

Combine your Oracle Cloud system with incert to simplify management and get the most out of your system landscape!

  1. Redeem vouchers: PMS redemption posting for the transfer of redemptions on guest invoices to Opera Cloud
  2. Automate accounting: Posting interface to Opera Cloud
  3. Synchronize guest and stay data: Data interface to the incert Loyalty System

In addition to the connections to the Opera Cloud PMS, we also offer an interface to the Oracle Simphony POS system to enable smooth data transfer here too.

Redeem vouchers

The redemption posting makes it possible to redeem vouchers in incert and post the redemption to the guest’s invoice in Opera. The receptionist continues to work in the familiar incert system while the data is synchronized in the background.

This means that data is transferred directly to the PMS system via the interfaces:

  • Seamless integration: redemption in incert is posted as a credit/invoice deduction in Opera.
  • User-friendly: Search by guest name or confirmation ID in incert.
  • Partial redemption possible: residual value remains on the voucher for future redemption.

Automate accounting

With incert’s booking interface, you can record sales and redemptions from the voucher system directly in OPERA. Postings are made to paymasters, payment methods and transaction codes.

The technical implementation is based on Oracle OHIP and enables the booking of sales to one paymaster and one payment method per payment type as well as one transaction code per item, discount item or shipping costs. For room bookings, the items, discount items and shipping costs are booked to the specified paymaster (room). At the time of redemption, the sale can also be reversed against the voucher payment method on the customer invoice.

Extensions or additional booking cases can be discussed individually in order to find suitable solutions.

Synchronize guest and stay data

With this interface, you can transfer the sales and stay data of your Club members directly to the Club via Opera’s guest ID using an XML interface, thus enabling the automated rewarding of stays.

This applies to the following data by default:

  • Transfer of guest profiles
  • Transfer of reservation data
  • Transfer of check-in data
  • Transfer of check-out data
  • Consideration of cancellations

Possible depending on the setup (must be checked individually):

  • Update of member status to Opera Cloud after registration
  • Transfer of the Club members’ points balance to Opera Cloud
  • Transfer of club member levels to Opera Cloud
