In a modern hotel with several restaurants and bars, a wide variety of IT systems are naturally in use. The vouchers and tickets created and sold on site had to be checked and validated manually. The aim was to increase turnover while reducing costs and preventing errors.

A store that can do everything

An attractive shopping experience was created with the option of buying print@home vouchers and gift cards with different packaging. The ticket system is used to market events such as the New Year’s Eve party and tickets are sold automatically online. The store was directly integrated into the new website in the Empire Riverside brand design.
The print shop produced individual gift cards and packaging, which are available in the online store and on site. Our interfaces enable seamless integration into the existing IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth processes in the individual departments.

The openness of our technology enables easy connection to existing IT systems on site. Vouchers and gift cards can be loaded and unloaded quickly and easily at the Matrix cash registers. Vouchers or gift cards are also deducted directly from the guest bill in the Protel PMS system. The incert app is used to quickly validate event tickets at the entrance. The final building block for a fully optimized workflow for all departments: All sales and redemptions are automatically recorded in the DATEV accounting system.

Conclusion

The automated online and on-site sale of vouchers, tickets and gift cards results in minimal administrative effort. The direct connection to the cash registers, hotel and accounting systems eliminates sources of error during on-site handling.
