New front end, familiar foundation: the next level of incert Shops
What has been tried and true stays. New things are added.
Using Vue.js, we’ve rebuilt the front end of our gift card, ticket, product, and loyalty systems: component-based and fully integrated with our back-end systems via APIs. This isn’t a design update, but a structural overhaul. For you, this means: Your interfaces, payment integrations, and processes remain the same! You’ll gain capabilities that were technically impossible to implement on the previous platform.
Why did we build a new house?
Until now, our stores have been running on a template-based technology that has evolved over many years. It worked well, but further development became increasingly complex, and building modern, interactive interfaces required a roundabout approach.
That’s why we’ve rebuilt the front end using Vue.js, a well-established framework for dynamic web interfaces. Instead of static templates, the new system uses dynamically configurable pages made up of standalone, reusable components —from product tiles to checkout. All interfaces follow this new approach. In addition, all data now flows seamlessly from our systems via defined APIs. What we build once works everywhere!
A new front end. Your foundation remains the same.
New technology doesn’t mean you have to start from scratch. Everything that connects your incert system to your business on a daily basis remains in place:
- Your integrations with point-of-sale, hotel, access control, and CRM systems will continue to operate as usual
- Your payment methods and how they’re recorded in your accounting system will remain the same.
- Vouchers and tickets that have already been issued remain valid—they can be redeemed on-site as usual
- Your admin area will look the same. No need to retrain your team.
Multilingual support, brand-consistent design, couponing, and the usual product display settings are, of course, also included—what’s new isn’t the feature itself, but the fact that it’s managed centrally rather than in individual templates.

What’s possible for the first time with the new generation.

Interactive Seat and Table Selection
Your guests choose their seat or table directly on the custom-designed seating chart—interactively, in real time, and without double bookings. An interface of this kind can only be effectively implemented using component-based technology. Reservations are processed through the same checkout system as gift certificates, tickets, and products.

Shop Content Even Outside the Shop
Individual shop components can be made available as standalone widgets. The first of these is the interactive product teaser: It displays your offerings as a product slider directly on your website and redirects visitors to the shop. The architecture is designed so that additional modules can follow the same principle.

Updates and Relaunches Without a Complete Rebuild
This is one of the biggest improvements in the new platform. Previously, a store essentially remained at the stage of its initial implementation—improvements only came with the next relaunch, which replaced the entire old version. Now your store is versioned: Updates and new features can be implemented without having to rebuild the store from scratch. What used to be a project has become a predictable update. This allows you to keep your store up to date at all times.

Shop and Loyalty on a Single Platform
For the first time, sales and customer loyalty are running on the same technology. This means components work across both areas: The event overview from the ticketing system is also available in the loyalty section. Members can view their events and benefits in the same interface they use to make purchases.

Custom layouts with significantly less effort
Thanks to the component-based structure, we have much greater flexibility when implementing custom layouts. Customizations to your brand identity, special requests, or unique display formats—which used to require time-consuming work within the template—can now be implemented in a more targeted manner and with significantly less effort—without affecting the rest of the store.

Accessibility Built In from the Ground Up
The European Accessibility Act makes accessibility in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA mandatory . In the new architecture, accessibility is an integral part of the components, rather than having to be implemented individually in each project. This creates a solid, uniform foundation on which accessible online stores can be implemented with significantly less effort.
The way people search is changing: from traditional search to direct answers and AI assistants. We’re currently working on the technical foundation to ensure that online stores are easily discoverable by all these systems. We’re deliberately developing this foundation as a standard for all new online stores, rather than addressing it on a project-by-project basis.

A Step Toward Greater Modernization
The new front end is not the end goal, but rather a step toward a broader realignment. For the first time, sales and customer loyalty are built on the same foundation.
And we’re taking it a step further: At the same time, we’re also redesigning the administrative interfaces—not just updating them technically, but reimagining them from the ground up.
You’re the driving force behind this: We’ve listened to the feedback from our daily work with the system and are translating it into an administrative interface that’s clearer, more modern, and more user-friendly. Step by step, we’re building a consistently modern platform—from the store your guests see to the interface your team uses every day.
