Growing digitally with incert

Naturhotel Forsthofgut has been relying on solutions from incert for more than a decade. Through continuous development and new digital features, processes are simplified, guest experiences are improved and online sales are sustainably strengthened.

What is the advantage of the incert solution for your company? What problem has been solved or what improvements have been achieved in your company?

At Forsthofgut, we want to enrich people – with genuine, select experiences. To achieve this digitally and emotionally, we rely on a sophisticated combination of voucher sales, product store and loyalty club. With incert, numerous manual processes at Naturhotel Forsthofgut have been automated and thus massively simplified. For example, it took over 80 working days to process around 4,000 vouchers a year with the old voucher system. Our new My Forsthofgut Club is also motivating: Guests are visibly rewarded, collect points (we collect “trees”, appropriately enough) and redeem them for rewards and vouchers. This creates a simple, playful system that strengthens guest loyalty and at the same time relieves our processes. The use of incert not only saves time for the team, but also measurably increases sales through targeted cross-selling and upselling across all system modules.

How is the product/solution used in the company?

We have been using incert solutions for over 10 years. We started with the voucher store, followed by the take-away system for our restaurant Mizumi and the product store module for our boutique lieblingsDINGE. There we sell indulgence packages, home accessories and spa products, visually fully in the brand design. For all those who want to take the special Forsthofgut atmosphere home with them.

In November 2024, we also launched the “My Forsthofgut Club” loyalty club. Depending on their activity, guests progress from “FG Fan” to “Ambassador” and receive exclusive benefits. The awarding of points, communication and redemption are fully digitalized. Over 8,000 guests are already actively using the system, including via the Forsthofgut app, which can also be used to redeem rewards and benefits directly.

All systems interlock centrally, streamlining administration and making the guest experience consistent and true to the brand. All incert modules are networked with each other and can be operated intuitively – both for guests and internally in the hotel.

We recognized early on that eCommerce, and voucher sales in particular, would bring a strong increase because it would be much easier for the guest. Digitalization offers enormous opportunities to save time and increase sales

How long has it been in use and how complex was the implementation?

The incert voucher store has been in use at Naturhotel Forsthofgut since 2011. The product store was added in 2021, followed by the digital loyalty club in 2024. The introduction was deliberately gradual but structured – with close technical support from the incert team.

Thanks to an open system approach with many APIs and a customizable system design, we were able to integrate all modules seamlessly into our processes. The changeover did not mean any additional workload in our day-to-day operations, but rather noticeable relief – with measurable sales impulses at the same time.

How does the incert solution differ from the competition?

incert offers a rare combination: powerful technology with an emotional impact. The system is modular, fully brandable and can be seamlessly integrated into existing infrastructure. It was crucial for us that the voucher store, product sales and guest club do not look like external tools, but feel like a natural part of the Naturhotel Forsthofgut.
