At the moment, many customers often only find information about the current closure of the business on the homepage.
Supplement this information about the current situation with the information that you can also buy vouchers quickly and easily during the closure period and then redeem them after the restrictions have been lifted. The perfect Mother's Day gift and vacation cheer in stock!

We have put together some best practice examples for the optimal linking of the voucher store on your own website:

Item in the main menu:


Easy to find. You don't have to search for vouchers in a submenu, e.g. under “Service” or “Contact”.

Footer:

Contact details are often searched for here; the additional reference for vouchers can then be found automatically on all subpages.

Gift icon in the side bar:

A short menu or a side bar that moves with the scrolling should definitely include a “Give” icon. The icon is thus automatically visible on every subpage and regardless of the page height at which the user is located.

Banner and teaser on the start page:

These have proven to be particularly effective before gift-giving occasions. They can even be animated and attract additional attention.

Pop-up / overlay on the start page:

Most CMS systems can display pop-ups/overlays/hustles that appear either after a certain time or when the user scrolls down or wants to leave the website. This area is PERFECT for communicating the voucher offer!

Content element:

Include the topic of vouchers and the link to the voucher store on the homepage and on corresponding subpages as a content element.
Here is an example of a content element on the subpage for the Christmas gift occasion.

Create incentives to buy:

Special offers or discount codes on vouchers

Discount codes lead to a price reduction in the shopping cart (€ amount or % amount of the purchase total) or add an additional free voucher to the shopping cart (e.g. free massage). Codes can be restricted to individual vouchers or a minimum order quantity and of course a date/time. You can communicate these promotions on the homepage, in the newsletter, on social media channels, etc., as in our example.
